PFW extends indoor mask mandate through Thanksgiving

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) - An indoor mask mandate will remain in place at Purdue University Fort Wayne through the Thanksgiving break.

Citing the most recent data on COVID-19 as the reason for that extension, the administration said it will continue to require students, staff, faculty and visitors to "mask up" when inside a campus facility, regardless of vaccination status.

The extension runs through the night of Nov. 28.

The university posted the decision to its website and social media pages, thanking the PFW community for "your willingness and flexibility to adapt quickly to these challenging circumstances."
