Rain stays in the forecast through Friday

tomorrow

A cold front is progressing through Indiana this evening, bringing not only temperatures from the low 80s down to the mid to upper 50s overnight, but also widespread rain. Though there are some embedded heavier downpours, heavy, flooding rain is not expected to be the primary feature of this front through Friday.

Tonight, plan on periods of rain (about half an inch, on average) with low temperatures in the 50s.

Friday will be cloudy with rain, possibly heavy at times, especially towards Jay County. Another half to three quarters of an inch of rain is possible by the end of the day Friday. Football games will undoubtedly be muddy, so bring the rain gear along!

Drier and much colder weather settles in this weekend with highs barely reaching the 60s Saturday under sunny conditions.
