Safety Alert: Infant swing advisory issued after deaths

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – An advisory has been issued on an infant swing made by Fisher-Price after 10 infants died.

Investigators with the US Consumer Product Safety Commission say the babies died after they rolled over from their backs to their stomachs while in the “Rock ‘N Play” sleeper.

In Friday’s notice, the Commission warned caregivers to stop using the sleeper immediately if the child is three months old or greater, or can roll over on their own.

Editor’s note: An earlier version of this story included mention of a recall. The product has not been recalled.
