Car peppered by bullets in parking lot

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) – Police are looking for a shooter who fired shots at a car Friday night.

It happened minutes before midnight at a Burger King on Pettit Avenue near Lafayette Street.

According to police, there were no injuries but a car was peppered with bullet holes.

Officers could be seen scanning the parking lot for evidence near a former drug store.

This story is based on initial information from officers at the scene who said this was a case of vandalism.
