Seven college-aged people hurt in shooting near Ball State University

MUNCIE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Police in Muncie say seven college-aged people were hurt in a shooting near Ball State University’s campus overnight.

According to WTHR, an argument broke out at a large house party, when police say someone pulled a gun and fired shots. Investigators are still trying to figure out how many shots were fired.

Medics took three victims to the hospital with life-threatening injuries. One victim had to be air-lifted to Indianapolis. The other four victims’ injuries aren’t as serious.

Police are questioning a possible suspect, but have not charged anyone at this time.
