Silver alert issued for missing North Judson man

STARKE COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) – The Starke County Sheriff’s Department is investigating the disappearance of 56-year-old James Runkle.

Authorities describe Runkle as a white male, 6 feet and 2 inches tall, 210 pounds, bald head with brown eyes.

Police said he was last seen wearing a green shirt and camo pants and was driving a black 2004 Chevy Silverado pickup truck. Officers said the truck has an orange kayak in the back and has an Indiana license plate BLT662.

Officers with the Starke County Sheriff’s Department said James is missing from North Judson, which is 121 miles north of Indianapolis. Police said he was last seen on Friday, September 20th at 7:00 A.M.

He is believed to be in extreme danger and may require medical assistance.
