Traffic stop by LaGrange Police leads to drug arrest

LAGRANGE, Ind. (WPTA 21) — The LaGrange Police Department says a traffic stop led to the arrest of a man who had roughly 87 grams of methamphetamine on him just before 12:30 early Saturday morning. Police say Derrick Fergison of LaGrange was pulled over for committing several traffic violations on a 2002 Honda motorcycle. After officers located the drugs, Fergison was taking into custody. Armed man holds up gas station, police searching for suspect

Police are hoping to identify a suspect caught on security cameras during an armed robbery at a Fort Wayne gas station last month.  On Aug. 25 around 11:30 a.m., Fort Wayne Police say a suspect held up the Sunoco gas station at 1416 Oxford Street.  Anyone that knows the identity of the individual is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 436-7867 or the Fort Wayne Police Department at 427-1222.
