(WPTA21) Even if you’re not a fan of auto racing, you can’t help but admire the skill and courage it takes to compete.

We have a star competitor right here in 21Country.

At 79, Conan Myers struggles a bit to put on his vintage racing jacket.

You wouldn’t guess that 40 years ago, he was the fastest man in 21Country.

In 1960, 20-year-old Myers built his first race car, a 1932 Ford, and pulled it to Fort Wayne’s South Anthony Speedway for the start of what would become a legendary stock car racing career.
