Corinne Rose

In 1995, I had the privilege of joining the 21Alive (now ABC21) news team as a general assignment reporter, covering just about every kind of story out there.

From early 2003 to 2013, I anchored the noon news and I also created and produced the highly popular Noon Extra show for three years, where viewers could call in live on the air to ask questions of the expert of the day.

You’ll see me regularly covering the police and crime beats, and in my reports you’ll see me covering everything from homicides to human interest stories. Digging deep on issues as well as ethically protecting my sources are central to my reporting.

Having grown up in Northbrook, Illinois, a suburb of Chicago, I graduated from Miami of Ohio with a double major in English and Political Science. In the spring of my junior year of college, I studied at Miami’s Luxembourg campus and traveled throughout Europe to learn about history, culture and architecture. I also sang in a Luxembourgish choir where no English was spoken at all!

One of the highlights of that semester abroad was attending the Winter Olympics in Albertville, France, as my friends and I cheered on the USA hockey team as it beat Italy. What an experience!

In my free time, I sing with the many friends I’ve made in the Fort Wayne Philharmonic Chorus and enjoy working out, cooking, reading, and traveling as much as my busy schedule allows.

I love living in Fort Wayne with my husband and our two cats, Aspen and Hugo.

Please send me an email when you have a story idea you’d like to share, and like my Facebook page! Thanks!
