“Fast food block” purchase approved by Fort Wayne Capital Improvement Board

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — A block in downtown Fort Wayne hosting three fast-food restaurants may soon be purchased by the Capital Improvement Board.

The CIB approved a purchase¬†agreement for the land containing King Gyros, Rally’s and Taco Bell. The purchase would come in two phases, with Rally’s and King Gyros coming first. The Taco Bell purchase would come within 36 months.

The owners of the Taco Bell tell us they’re concerned because they recently bought the restaurant, but not the property.
