Girl Scout cookies sales to begin Friday

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The time to begin buying Girl Scout cookies is coming up.

The Girl Scouts begin their annual cookie sales on Friday. As always, they have classic cookie choices including S’mores, Thin Mints, Peanut Butter Patties, Peanut Butter Sandwich, Shortbread, Caramel deLites, Lemonades and Thanks-A-Lot. This year a new gluten-free cookie, Caramel Chocolate Chip, will be available.

Selling the cookies not only helps the scouts earn badges and pay for camp, but it also teaches lessons like money management, goal setting, business ethics, and people skills.

If you want to get your hands on some cookies before they’re gone again, there are multiple ways to do it.

You can head over to their website and go to the find cookies link, download the cookie locator app for your phone, or the old fashion way and contact any Girl Scout.
