FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – A teen girl missing since October has been found alive in the northern Wisconsin town of Gordon.

The stunning news came from Chris Fitzgerald, the Sheriff of Barron County, Wisconsin who says a suspect is in custody.

Closs, just 13 years old, disappeared from her parent’s home the day they were found dead.

Both parents were shot to death and authorities ruled their deaths homicides.

Police say a teenager was home during the violence, but have said previously they do not believe she is a suspect.

A nationwide search for the teen turned up false leads which kept investigators puzzled and led to a $50,000 reward for information.

A news conference is expected to take place at 11 Friday morning.
