Fort Wayne man pleads guilty to 2012 homicide case

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — A Fort Wayne man will be sentenced for his role in a 2012 homicide case.

ABC21 previously reported 38-year-old Emily Householder was fatally shot in a car on Sinclair Street in May 2012. Police said the shooting appeared to be a drug deal gone bad.

Moises Martinez was arrested in connection with the case. On Tuesday, Martinez pleaded guilty to voluntary manslaughter. The plea deal calls for Martinez to serve 25 years.

Martinez will learn his sentence when he appears in court on February 22.
