Noble County man escapes after court hearing

NOBLE COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) — Police are looking for a man after he escaped from a courthouse Friday morning.

The Noble County Sheriff’s Department said Zachary Centers was in court for a hearing Friday morning. After the hearing, he went downstairs and left before security was able to stop him.

Centers ran away in downtown Albion. Police were not able to find him and the search was eventually called off.

The department said Centers has an active warrant for invasion of privacy. They will file additional charges with the Noble County Prosecutor’s office for resisting.
