Man sentenced for Easter morning murder

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — A Fort Wayne man learned his sentence after he was found guilty for the shooting death of a 26-year-old man.

Tyrion McNair was sentenced Friday after being found guilty for the murder of Javon Burnett. Burnett was found gunned down outside the Summit at Ridgewood Apartment on Easter morning.

McNair was sentenced to 65 years for the murder count and 20 years for the use of a firearm charge. He will serve the sentences consecutively.
