FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The Fort Wayne Youtheatre’s newest production opens later this week, honoring a woman who never let her disabilities get her down.
“After the miracle: Helen Keller” focuses on the deaf and blind woman’s work in the performing arts while advocating for rights for the disabled.
The play is being done in partnership with the League for the Blind & Disabled.
The first performance Friday, February 8th at 7 pm followed by two shows on Saturday, two and four pm and Sunday, February 10th at 2 pm. There is also a special performance next Monday at Wayne High School that is sold out.
Tickets are $18 for adults and $12 for children 18 and under, seniors and groups of 10 or more.
