FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — With Valentine’s Day coming up this week the VA says it’s no better time to thank a veteran.
Events are planned across the nation this week. Here in Fort Wayne, veterans at will be visited by Indiana Attorney General Curtis Hill, Jr. And Mayor Tom Henry. Other visitors during the week include Miss Indiana and the Indianapolis Colts cheerleaders.
The VA says more than a million Valentine’s Day cards and letters are sent to VA patients each year during the national salute.
