Police respond after vehicle ends up in water

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Police responded to a report of a vehicle in the water Friday morning.

The report came in around 6:11 Friday morning just north of the intersection at Engle and Smith. When police arrived at the scene, they found a vehicle stuck in the marsh.

Two people were inside the vehicle. They were able to get out safely.

A tow truck responded to try to get the vehicle out of the marsh. ABC21 has a crew on the scene and will provide updates as they become available.
