FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The Boys and Girls Club of Fort Wayne will be giving members a first look at the inside of their new building Tuesday.
The organization is hosting a ribbon cutting ceremony at 3:30 Tuesday at their new location at the corner of Pontiac and Fairfield Avenue.
They have invited over 400 children to come look at the new and increased space. Officials say the new facility l features a complete Division 1 specification basketball and volleyball court, a performance stage, five learning centers, a second floor for teens only, an e-gaming/technology room, a dance/fitness studio, an expanded art room, and a building trades partnership room to educate members in the skilled trade
The $9-million project adds 16,500 square feet to their facility.
