DELPHI, Ind. (WPTA21) – State Police released new details in the Delphi murder investigation Monday.

The newly-released information includes additional audio and video from the victim’s phone. In the audio, you can hear the man right before the “down the hill” clip.

In the video, the suspect is seen walking on the bridge. This is the same video that was originally released as a screenshot.

The Indiana State Police said they want people to pay attention to the gait of the man on the bridge to see if they recognize it.

Police also released a new sketch of the suspect. The Indiana State Police said they believe the new sketch more accurately depicts the face of the suspect. With the new sketch, the previously-released sketch will now become secondary.

Indiana State Police say the suspect is likely in his mid-20’s to mid-30’s. They also believe he is either from, visits, or works in Delphi.

In the emotional news conference, Indiana State Police Superintendent Doug Carter spoke directly to the suspect.

“We believe you are hiding in plain sight. For more than two years, you never thought we would shift gears to a different investigative strategy, but we have,” Carter said.

Carter said that they may have interviewed the suspect or someone close to them.

“You want to know what we know,” Carter said, “and one day you will.”

“We have a witness. You made mistakes. We are coming for you and there’s no place for a heartless coward like you to hide that gets his thrill from killing little girls,” Carter wrote in a news release.

It has been two years since searchers found the bodies of Abby Williams and Libby German.

Their bodies were found just a day after they went hiking near the Delphi Historic Trail, about a half mile upstream from the high bridge.

Key evidence in the case includes a photo taken from Libby’s phone and an audio recording of what police believe to be the killer’s voice.
