An autopsy determined that she suffocated to death and had old fractures on her arms that were left untreated. Patton’s bond was set at $30,000 in April of 2018.

Wednesday, Patton posted the bond and was released from the Allen County Jail at 12:01 p.m. The Allen County Sheriff’s Department Public Information Officer Steve Stone said Patton posted a surety bond, meaning he only had to pay 10% of the bond, or $3,000.
