Police looking for help identifying armed robbery suspect

MARION, Ind. (WPTA21) — Police are looking for help after a man robbed a Village Pantry early Monday morning.

The Marion Police Department said the robbery happened just before 2 am Monda at the Village Pantry located at 9th and Miller Avenue.

A man wearing cowboy boots with possibly an American flag theme can be seen on security video. The man was wearing all black clothing and had a hood over his head and was possibly wearing a black bandana. He had a slender build and was tall.

The man took several items and cash before fleeing westbound from the store. Anyone with information about his identity or other information about the case is being asked to call the Marion Police Department at 662-9981 or Crime Stoppers at 765-662-8477.
