Semi fire shuts down I-69 in DeKalb County

DEKALB COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) – A semi fire on I-69 is restricting traffic Thursday.

The semi went up into flames around 1 p.m. near Exit 325 on I-69 just south of Auburn.

Indiana Department of Transportation officials say all lanes are closed as crews work to clear the scene.

Northbound traffic is being diverted at Union Chapel Road.

It was not immediately clear if there were any injuries involved with this fire.
