24,000 inclined sleepers recalled due to safety concerns

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Three more varieties of inclined sleepers are being recalled due to an ongoing concern of inclined sleep products.

The Consumer Product Safety Commission said the recall involves Eddie Bauer Slumber and Soothe Rock Bassinet; Disney Baby Doze and Dream Bassinets sold at Target, Kmart, Ross, Marshalls, TJ Maxx and juvenile product stores nationwide.

The recall was initiated because infant fatalities have been reported while using other inclined sleep products. The CPSC said the deaths happened after the infants rolled from their back to their stomach or side while unrestrained, or under other circumstances.
