FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — 32,000 pounds of canned beef products are being recalled because bacterial pathogens may have survived the processing.
The United States Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) says the recall involves Kaskey’s Beefy Mac Pasta In Tomato & Meat Sauce sold in Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland and Texas.
So far, no adverse reactions have been reported connected to the product. The FSIS says Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.
The canned beef items were produced on July 18. They were sold in 15-ounce cans with a best by date of July 7, 2021, and the establishment number EST. 794.
