AMBER Alert canceled for teen missing from Northwest Indiana

UPDATE: The AMBER Alert has been canceled as of Sunday, August 18 at 2:30 pm.


LAKE COUNTY, Ind. (WPTA21) — Police are looking for help finding a teen that was reported missing Saturday morning.

The Lake County Sheriff’s Department said 16-year-old Madison Eddlemon was last seen around 9 am Saturday in Crown Point, Indiana and is believed to be in extreme danger.

Eddlemon, is 5 feet 1 inches tall and weighs around 97 pounds. She has blonde hair with green eyes, and last seen wearing a black hoodie with white tribal and blue jeans with tears and shin high boots with a black lace choker.

Police believe she may be with 22-year-old Alexander Curry-Fishtorn. He is 5 feet 7 inches tall, weighs around 158 pounds and has brown hair with brown eyes. He was last seen driving a dark grey 2009 Chevrolet Cobalt with Indiana license plate number 645RIS.
