Three arrested in simultaneous warrant services for methamphetamine

GARRETT, Ind. (WPTA21) – Police arrested three people Monday afternoon after police searched two Garrett residences.

The Garrett Police Department said the arrests happened after police searched the homes around 4 pm Monday. The searches took place in the 100 block of South Cowen Street and the 100 block of South Hamsher Street.

The searches come after an investigation into illegal narcotics and firearms. Three people now face charges including:

Dakota Aikins, 22, Garrett

  1. Dealing Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony
  2. Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 3 Felony
  3. Possession of Syringe, a Level 6 Felony
  4. Dealing Marijuana, a Level 6 Felony
  5. Possession of Marijuana, a Class A Misdemeanor
  6. Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor

Krista Miler, 20, Garrett

  1. Dealing Methamphetamine, a Level 2 Felony
  2. Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 3 Felony
  3. Possession of Syringe, a Level 6 Felony
  4. Dealing Marijuana, a Class A Misdemeanor
  5. Possession of Marijuana, a Class B Misdemeanor
  6. Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor

Andrew Woehnker, 25, Garrett

  1. Possession of Methamphetamine, a Level 5 Felony
  2. Possession of Paraphernalia, a Class C Misdemeanor

NOTE: This story has been updated to reflect only three people were arrested after the searches. Another person was charged in connection with the warrant searches but was not arrested.
