FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Volunteers, corporations, government and community leaders will gather in Fort Wayne to discuss ways to transform neighborhoods.
The Regional Neighborhood Network Conference is taking place in Fort Wayne from September 19-21. The conference will emphasize how recreation, arts, culture and social interaction can help the city’s neighborhoods.
The conference will feature keynote speaker Shawn Dunwoody. He is a New York artist who works with neighborhood organizations and community groups to revitalize urban neighborhoods.
The conference started in 1986 with the premise of government officials having a forum to exchange ideas and neighborhood leaders having the opportunity to share and hear solutions to challenges they face.
