Indiana schools waive fees for National College Application Week

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. (WPTA) – The Indiana Commission for Higher Education says fifteen Indiana colleges will waive college application fees during Indiana’s College Application Week, September 23-27.

They say seventeen other colleges have reported free applications year-round.

In addition, nearly 100 high schools across the state will host College Application Week events to help high school seniors navigate the admissions process. Officials say this makes it Indiana’s largest College Application celebration since joining the American College Application Campaign in 2013

“We are encouraged to see more high schools and colleges participating than ever before,” said Indiana Commissioner for Higher Education Teresa Lubbers. “The value of higher education has never been greater, and College Application Week provides students the ability to apply for free to some of Indiana’s colleges as they take that critical step toward their futures.”
