Goss carries IUPUI past Cleveland St. 90-74

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Elyjah Goss had 16 points and 13 rebounds for his third career double-double to lead six IUPUI players in double figures as the Jaguars topped Cleveland State 90-74 on Thursday night.

D.J. McCall, Camron Justice and Ahmed Ismail added 13 points apiece for the Jaguars (10-7, 2-2 Horizon League). Nick Rogers chipped in 12 points. Justice also had six assists for the Jaguars, while Ismail posted three assists.

Jaalam Hill had 18 points for the Vikings (5-13, 0-5), whose losing streak reached five games. Stefan Kenic added 18 points and nine rebounds. Rashad Williams had 12 points.

Tyree Appleby, the Vikings’ leading scorer heading into the contest at 18 points per game, had only seven points on 3-of-10 shooting. He also had eight turnovers but only three assists.
