FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — The battle for first place didn’t live up to the hype.

Purdue Fort Wayne demolished visiting Oral Roberts on Thursday night, winning 94-69. The victory moves the ‘Dons to 4-0 in the Summit League, the only remaining team unbeaten in league play.

The Golden Eagles’ zone defense didn’t slow down the Mastodons’ red-hot offense, as Purdue Fort Wayne shot 47% from the field, and 50% on three-point attempts.

Kason Harrell led the team with 22 points, and John Konchar had another impressive stat line, with 21 points, eight rebounds, five assists, four steals, and a block.
