Tech women, men sweep Michigan-Dearborn

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The No. 3-ranked Indiana Tech  etched another chapter into their historic season Saturday as they defeated No. 23-ranked University of Michigan-Dearborn, 81-79, in overtime.

The Warriors have now won 23 straight games, the longest streak in program history and the longest current streak in the NAIA.

Alexis Hill scored a career-high 26 points while adding three assists and three blocks while Kendall Knapke had 12 points and 14 rebounds for her fourth double-double of the season. Bella Lozano-Dobbs and Rachel Bell each had 11 points and six rebounds with the latter dishing out eight assists. Isis Parker had 10 points and eight rebounds while Kyra Whitaker had eight points, including six of the biggest points of the game.

The No. 22-ranked Indiana Tech men’s basketball team defeated the University of Michigan-Dearborn, 74-58,

Dylan Phair scored a team-high 15 points and grabbed six rebounds while Mitch Morken added 11 points and three rebounds off the bench. David Froedge scored a career-high 10 points while Josh Kline added nine points and three rebounds.
