Indiana Tech to start women’s wrestling program

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — Indiana Tech will soon become the first college in the Hoosier state to feature a women’s wrestling team.

Monday, Tech director of athletics Debbie Warren announced the new program, scheduled to begin competition during the 2020-21 academic year.

The Warriors will compete in the NAIA, currently the only intercollegiate athletics association that features women’s wrestling.
