Indiana Tech hockey claims WHAC title with 25th-straight win

DEARBORN, Mich. (WPTA21) — Another conference tournament title will make its way back to Indiana Tech.

The Warriors hockey team knocked off top-seeded Michigan-Dearborn 5-2 in the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference tournament on Sunday.

After falling behind 1-0 early in the first, the Warriors got three goals from Matej Krasny, Mike Tish, and Jarrett Pfeiffer.

Tish added a second goal during the second period, and Zach Bennett scored in the final seconds of the third, as the Warriors locked up the title.

Indiana Tech now takes its 25-game winning streak to the North American Intercollegiate Hockey Association (NAIHA) National Tournament.
