USF wraps up spring practice

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The defense had the better of the offense Saturday at the Saint Francis spring football game at D’Arcy Stadium.

The defense won on the scoreboard 36-15.

Highlights included an eight carry, 50 yard, one touchdown day for running back P.J. Dean, a ten yard touchdown pass from Clay Senarius to Brock Bishop, and an interception return for a touchdown by Quinten Franklin.

The game marked the end of contact drills for the Cougars, but spring sessions will continue with conditioning and non contact practices.
