Indiana Tech takes down Cumberlands again, earns trip to NAIA World Series

WILLIAMSBURG, Ky. (WPTA21) — The Indiana Tech baseball team can start planning a trip to Idaho.

After taking down the host University of the Cumberlands 10-5 on Tuesday, the Warriors beat the Patriots again Wednesday by a 6-4 final.

That win completes a perfect 3-0 run in the NAIA Opening Round, and earns Tech a spot in the Avista-NAIA World Series, held in Leiwston, Idaho.

Heritage graduate Branson Dossen went 3-4 with 3 RBI on Wednesday, and homered for the second-straight game.

The Avista-NAIA World Series begins on Friday, May 24.
