Homestead wins first SAC Boys Holiday Tournament title

FORT WAYNE (WPTA21) – Luke Goode poured in 31 points to lead Homestead to its first ever Summit Athletic Conference Holiday Tournament boys title with a 65-49 win over Snider Friday night.

Goode hit five three pointers, and had 29 of his 31 points after three quarters.

Zak Krueger back Goode with 21 points, 15 of those coming in the third quarter, when he hit three three pointers.

Dillon Duff led Snider with 17 points.

Homestead reached the final with a 51-40 semifinal win over Carroll led by 22 points from Goode and Snider came from behind to beat Northrop in the other semifinal 75-68 with Duff scoring 22 for the Panthers.
