Sectional softball and baseball keeps rolling

UNDATED (WPTA21) – Girls sectional softball continued and boys sectional baseball began on Wednesday night.

Leo rallied from a 2-0 deficit to post an 8-2 win at the 4A Carroll Sectional, where East Noble also advanced with a 10-4 win over Northrop.

In 3A at Garrett, Luers outlasted Concordia 9-8 and Dwenger shut out New Haven 12-0

Bellmont advance at the 3A Mississinewa Sectional with a 5-2 win over the host school.

At the 2A Westview Sectional, Central Noble blanked Westview 12-0 and Bremen whitewashed Prairie Heights 10-0.

In baseball, Charlie Howe slammed a solo home run as Dwenger won the opener of the 3A New Haven Sectional 6-0 over Columbia City.

Carroll was a 7-1 winner over Snider in the opener of the 4A DeKalb Sectional.

Huntington North won the lidlifter in its 4A sectional over Wayne 8-2.

At the 3A Bellmont Sectional, Marion sent Norwell to the sidelines 2-0 and Bellmont ran by Mississinewa 10-0.

Angola got past Lakeland 2-0 to open the 3A Wawasee sectional.

LaVille shut out Prairie Heights 10-0 and Bremen nipped Westview 7-6 at the 2A Westview Sectional.

At the 1A Fremont Sectional Fremont took out Blackhawk Christian 8-1, and Elkhart Christian was a 4-3 winner over Hamilton.
