FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Patrick Allgeier racked up seven birdies and an eagle on Saturday en route to a seven under par 64 that leads the Fort Wayne Men’s City Golf Tournament at Pine Valley by two shots after 18 holes.
Allgeier, who a few weeks back fired a course record 62 at Brookwood on the way to winning the FWGA Amateur open, has a two shot lead on Danny Kimes, who came in later in the day with a five under par 66.
Logan Ryan is next at 67, a round that would have been even better had he avoided a triple bogey on the 17th hole.
Matt Zedrick is next at 68 and former champs Sam Till, Jr. and Steve Vernasco are in a group at 69.
