Ants prevail in home opener

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Ben Moore and Edmund Sumner each had 22 points as the Mad Ants downed the Erie Bayhawks 116-111 Friday night.

The Ants used a big second quarter to take the lead and extended it in the third quarter, which allowed them to hold off Erie late and win the first home game of their twelfth season.

Alize Johnson added 20 points and Davon Reed 18 for Fort Wayne.
