Komets celebrate Bob Chase, net win over Brampton

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – The Komets have yet to lose the Bob Chase Memorial Game.

For the second year, the Komets Thanksgiving night game included a tribute to the late Fort Wayne icon, including special Bob Chase bobbleheads as part of the WOWO Penny Pitch. Just like last year, the night ended in a Fort Wayne win, with the Komets beating Brampton 3-2.

J.C. Campagna delivered the first Komet goal 18 seconds into the second period. Later in the second, the Komets added a pair of power play goals from Jake Kamrass and Justin Hodgman.

The Komets will play at Kalmazoo on Friday night, then return to Memorial Coliseum for a Saturday night game against Cincinnati.
