Campagna, Hodgman lead Komets to win in first game of 2019

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) — A new year starts on a high note for the Komets.

J.C. Campagna scored twice as the K’s won 4-1, on the road against the Indy Fuel.

Justin Hodgman scored the Komets first goal, 1:36 into the first period, then assisted on both of Campagna’s goals.

Mason Baptista added an insurance goal with about three minutes left to play in the third.

Friday the Komets will take a quick trip to face Cincinnati, then the K’s return to the Coliseum for a Saturday night bout against the Fuel.
