Komets edge division leader Cincinnati

CINCINNATI, Ohio (WPTA21) – Trey Phillips’ first goal as a Komet lifted Fort Wayne to a 2-1 win over Central Division leading Cincinnati Friday night.

Phillips finished off a play on passes from Jamie Schaafsma and Anthony Petruzzelli to snap a 1-1 tie early in the third period.

Petruzzelli had scored the Komets’ first goal early in the first period.

Lukas Hafner turned aside 20 of 21 shots in goal.
