Mad Ants tip Erie

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Mad Ants edged the Erie BayHawks 120-119 on Friday night.

Omari Johnson’s fadeaway jumper as time expired in regulation, propelled the Ants to their fourth win in five games.

Johnson finished the night with 20 points and 14 rebounds for his first double-double of the season.

Former Mad Ant Alex Poythress had 34 points in his third game of the season with Erie.

Stephan Hicks and Rob Gray led the Mad Ants with 22 points each.
