Komets suffer shootout loss to Rapid City.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – In spite of getting 51 shots on goal the Komets dropped a 2-1 decision in a shootout to the Rapid City Rush on Saturday night.

The K’s were shut out after a first period goal by Marco Roy.

Richard Coyne tied it for Rapid City in the third period, and the Rush were a perfect 2 for 2 in the shootout, while the Komets scored just once on three chances.
