Komets end weekend with loss at Wheeling

WHEELING, W.V. (WPTA21) – The Komets came out on the short end of a 3-2 decision against the Wheeling Nailers on Sunday.

Oskari Halme brought the Komets from behind with an early second period goal, only to have Wheeling score the next two.

Fort Wayne native Blake Siebenaler, added to the Wheeling roster last week, assisted on the Nailers’ third goal, the one that proved to be the difference in the game.

Brady Shaw’s third period tally got the Komets within a goal, but they could get no closer.

The two teams meet again Wednesday night at the Memorial Coliseum.
