Komets get shootout win, earn playoff berth

INDIANAPOLIS (WPTA21) — They’re in.

The Komets only needed one point, and they got two on Friday night, winning 3-2 in a shootout on the road at Indy.

Brady Shawn and Shawn Szydlowski earned the regulation goals for the Komets, with Brett Welychka and Woody Hudson scoring for the Fuel.

Anthony Nellis ended the game with the deciding goal in the shootout. The Komets host home games on Saturday and Sunday to wrap up the regular season.
