TinCaps winning streak snapped at Bowling Green

BOWLING GREEN, Ky. (WPTA21) — The TinCaps trip to Bowling Green started on a sour note, with the Hot Rods winning the series opener 5-2.

The TinCaps took an early lead, with an RBI double from Blake Hunt in the second, and a solo homer from Lee Solomon in the third.

Bowling Green tied things up in the bottom of the third on Osmy Gregorio’s two-run home run. Then the TinCaps ran into more trouble in the seventh, when reliever Carlos Belen allowed three more runs.

The loss snaps the TinCaps four-game winning streak. The ‘Caps and Hot Rods continue their series on Saturday at 7:35pm.
