FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA21) – Dylan Sadowy scored three straight goals, the last one into an empty net, and the Toledo Walleye eliminated the Komets from the ECHL playoffs with a 4-1 win in Game 6 of their Central Division semifinal series.

The Walleye won the series four game to two and will meet Cincinnati in the Division Final series.

Shane Berschbach put Toledo on the board in the first period, and Brady Shaw brought the Komets back even with a power play goal in the second.

But Sadowy took things over in the third period, beating Zach Fucale twice and then finishing a natural hat trick by hitting the empty net for the final margin.

The Komets’ end of the season fan party and jersey auction will be held on Thursday night at 7pm in the Memorial Coliseum Expo Appleseed Room.  Cost is $5, with season ticket holder getting in free.
