TinCaps come up short at Lake County

EASTLAKE, Ohio (WPTA21) — The TinCaps couldn’t muster much offense on Wednesday night, falling 3-2 to wrap up a two-game series at Lake County.

TinCaps All-Star Ryan Weathers (L, 2-3) surrendered all three runs, two earned. He allowed seven hits and a pair of walks over 4.2 innings, with four strikeouts.

The Captains and TinCaps will both head to Fort Wayne now for the Fourth of July Game at Parkview Field.

The game will start earlier because of the holiday, with a first pitch at 6:05pm on Thursday evening.
